Rhinestone
Rhinestone refers to glass stones that have been used since the 18th century to imitate diamonds. A more recent offshoot is hot-fix or hot-glue rhinestones. These come with a thermal adhesive on the rear which liquefies at approx. 120° C and binds with the substrate at the point of contact. This development has made it possible to easily iron on or apply rhinestones.
